Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a splendid day today
We have all come quite a long way in our life’s journey with some of us having a long way to go and some of us in our later years watching the up and coming generations that will take over one day. We have either lived a beautiful life or we are beginning our journey towards building the beautiful life we envision for ourselves.  Wherever we may find ourselves along this spectrum of life’s journey, it’s important that we always see the beauty in the world and in our lives, and it’s important that we give thanks to God for every aspect of our journey, the beautiful aspects as well as the ugly aspects because everyone of those seasons of our life have helped to shape and mold us into who we are today.  We have all walked through our lives, with its many twists and turns, to get to where we are today without crumbling and without giving up, which means that somehow, somewhere along our journey we found beauty and hope even in our darkest hours. To the young people reading this message please know this, you will prevail and you will overcome any hard time that you may face when you turn to God and you allow Him to help you through those times. Know also that your parents, grandparents and loved ones are always going to be praying for you that you never have to face challenges and hard times at all. Know also that you can find an abundance of wisdom and guidance by asking your elders for advice. Trust me, they have walked through some stuff and they know the power and the hope of God. We are all here for a journey that is meant to show the world that God is very much alive and that He is more than capable of bringing about amazing miracles everyday. Therefore, every chance we get to share with others the beauty of our own journey and the testimony of the life that God helped us build and live we should joyfully do so. That way we can help inspire as many others as we can to come to God so He can also help them turn their lives and circumstances around to point them in the right direction helping them also to build the life they love, and this can still be accomplished whether you are 19, 29, 49, 79, or 99. Remember, all things are possible with God.
Have a great day today

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

Psalm 115:1 “Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a wonderful day today.
Philippians 2:3 tells us to “not do anything out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but rather in humility we should consider others more so than we consider ourselves.” Remember that very difficult decision I need to make? This scripture right here gives me pause in making that decision in one way because I kind of feel as though I am making a decision for self seeking reasons. I strive to be more humble in my life these days more and more. This is because I know that the humble and the meek are the ones who will see God’s Kingdom. More importantly, I know that I want the glory for all that I do to be given to God, which is exactly where the glory belongs. I am wise enough to know that I would be nothing and I would have nothing, without God’s perfect help that He has so lovingly and unfailingly given me. Building this life we love should always be done with a humble and wise spirit. We should never forget, no matter how far we come or how much we gain, exactly Who made it all possible and Who should be given the rightful credit. God is the reason I have endured and come through my life’s storms to see the joys and celebrations I see today and I promise you that if you had someone come and interview my family today everyone of us would easily testify that to God alone can we give the glory for bringing us through the hardest of times throughout our lives to seeing to beautiful and joyous moments like we all shared this weekend as we celebrated our brother’s wedding to his girlfriend of twenty years uniting them officially in love a married family. ❤️
Have an excellent day today

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

James 2:17 “Faith that does not lead us to good deeds is all alone and dead.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a terrific day today.
Now that we are coming to the end of this month and our messages for the month I felt like it was time for us to start taking steps towards building the life we love. What will your steps be today? For me, my steps will likely start with making one big decision that will not be an easy decision to make, but it will be a decision that I know I can trust God in and I can trust that His plan will prevail and will work out for my good. From that decision other steps and other plans will no doubt fall perfectly into place as God knows is best for me. Another action I am planning on making in this faith journey of building the life I love is working on creating a more permanent vegetable garden space in our yard to expand our vegetable garden growing because it is my hope to be able to be a blessing to our family, friends, and neighbors by having an abundant harvest to share. There are a few other steps I am going to take to continue my journey towards building the life I love and I pray that all of my steps, and all of your steps, will be blessed by God and that we may, in turn, give God the very best of ourselves, our gifts, and our blessings so that we may honor Him and glorify Jesus to the world. That is a large part of what this whole journey is truly all about, us wanting to show the world how great our God is and how beautiful a life spent walking in faith with God can be.
What action steps are you guys going to start taking now to work towards building the life you love? I’m excited to hear all about the journey each and everyone of you will be starting now.
Have an incredible day today

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a phenomenal day today.
Today, Jesus comes to flip the script on us building the life that we love because in Luke 14:26 Jesus says “If anyone comes to me and he does not hate…even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.”
This is tough because all of our lives we have been working towards building this life we love, yet Jesus reminds us here that in order to follow Him we must hate even our own lives, why would Jesus want this? For me, I feel like here in this scripture, Jesus is telling us that this is how He calls us to love Him and to commit ourselves to Him. In Jesus’s time, there were men and women much like us who lived busy lives with their families. Lives they had worked very hard to build and to be grateful for, yet Jesus’s disciples recognized Jesus and they chose to leave their homes and their lives behind to follow Him and to change their entire way of life once they chose to commit themselves to following Jesus.
Jesus calls us to do the same. Often, what Jesus is asking us to do is to change our way of living to fully commit ourselves to Him. Once we choose to commit our lives to living for Jesus and we have accepted Jesus into our hearts we are filled with the Holy Spirit and with Jesus leading our hearts and our spirits He creates within us a new heart and a new spirit that wants to leave behind our old ways of living that controlled us before and we want to live healthier, more peaceful, and more wholesome lives. We want to leave behind those people, places, habits, and things that we know go against Christ and against God because those things and people keep us from drawing closer to Jesus and hinders us from growing in our Christian walk. Keep in mind also that as we grow and follow Jesus he may also ask us to do as His disciples did and leave behind even the life we have built on God’s word and on the strong foundation of Jesus, to serve Him even more and this is a calling we all have to be willing to answer knowing we are following Jesus and His calling. He will provide all we need in this journey just as He did for His disciples and His followers. As always is best, ask God to give you the guidance and discernment to be able to recognize Jesus’s calling on your life and not be led astray in the wrong directions by those who may be trying to lure you away from Christ and away from what is best for you. I promise you, God will answer you and give you clarity you need. We aren’t going against scripture when we work hard, in whatever healthy way that is, to build the life we love, we just want to be sure that the life we are building is centered on Jesus, on God, and on scripture so that our lives will be built on a strong and unshakable foundation that can always be ready to follow and serve Jesus deeper wherever our calling comes to us from Jesus.

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

Luke 6:38 “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a fantastic day today.
We have spent this month talking about how we can build the life we love because living that life is such an important aspect of our journey through life. We may think that the hustle and bustle, the daily demands, and our assigned obligations are what’s most important on our lives, but honestly, at the end of the day, when it’s all said and done and we meet God in Heaven, do we want Him to say to us, “Child, you sure were a hard worker and always so punctual, too, in all that you did.” Or would we rather hear God say, “Well, child, that sure was quite an adventure you lived, and how I Am proud of you for being such a blessing and a source of support and encouragement for so many others.”
An important part of us building the life that we love is remembering to be a blessing to others knowing that others have been a blessing to us and knowing that God will in turn bless us. We may be focusing on building the life we love, but we simply should not ever forget that there are so many people in this world who need us to be their blessing in life so that they can also work towards building the life they love. Truly, I tell you, this world would, and could, be a much better place if we all could learn to be supportive, encouraging, kind, helpful, and caring towards one another instead of always striving to be better than someone else when we should simply be striving to be better versions of ourselves; instead of always looking to eliminate the competition or nullify those who annoyed us. If we want to see God bless us in big ways as we work towards building the life we love we can’t just hold out our hands in expectation without first opening up our hands in generosity. “Give, and it will be given to you, even greater than what you gave.” Today ask God to reveal to you how you can be a true blessing to someone else today and this weekend and just see the awesome and amazing ways God blesses you in return starting with the immense joy you will feel when you have been able to bless someone else.
Have a fabulous day today

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

Psalm 121:2 “My help comes from the Lord. Maker of Heaven and earth.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a blessed and joyful day today.
Building the lives we love means understanding that we simply cannot control every aspect of our lives and we cannot always put every piece of the puzzle together just so. These details are best left in God’s perfect hands. When we try to be control freaks and we insist on having things exactly as they should be in our own minds we are quite literally telling God how we think things are supposed to be. Us, telling the creator of the universe what we think would be best for our lives, and even for others lives, when we didn’t create this amazingly breathtaking universe, He did. The building blocks of our lives are placed upon one another based on the seasons we have walked through and the challenges, trials, and experiences we have faced, all of which have made us stronger and wiser, and even though we may try to kid ourselves and say we have always been in control, truly all along God has been in control, He just loves us enough to let us believe that we have always been in control. Something for us to consider in this message is this: what better paths and even better plans and outcomes are we missing out on because we have been, and we continue to be, so set on being fully in control instead of trusting our whole lives and our futures to God. The hearts we hear beating, the breaths we breathe in and out, the toes that wiggle under our covers as we read this message, the brain that helps us make decisions, God made them all and we didn’t have to give Him any instructions on how to get these things right, either. If we know and believe that God has made no mistakes in creating the universe and in creating us so far, then surely we can trust our lives and the plans for our lives in His perfect hands. This way we can most definitely ensure that He will work in His perfect ways to bring us to living the life we truly love.
Have an exceptional day today.

Part 2: More keys to building the life we love from scripture.

Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

Genesis 1 “In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a spectacular day today.
Keys to building the life we love in God’s own words:
Matthew 22:37-40 “Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, and mind = love your neighbor as yourself. When you follow these two greatest commandments all the other ten will naturally follow.”
Exodus 20:1-17 “Only have 1 God; worship Him only; don’t use bad words; work 6 days rest 1; obey your mom and dad; never hurt anyone; do not cheat; do not steal; always tell the truth; don’t be jealous of other people’s stuff”
Matthew 6:33 “Seek God and His wisdom, His best plan, His goodness, and everything else good for you that you are meant to have God will being your way.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Son so that whoever believes in His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, shall never perish but shall have everlasting life [and see Heaven]
John 14:6 “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father [God] except through me.”
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece.”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.”
Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
Revelation 3:20 “Behold,  I [Jesus] stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For God knows the plans He has for you and those plans are for good not evil. They are plans to prosper you.”

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

Matthew 19:26 “All things are possible with God.”
Good morning ya’ll.
I pray that you have a terrific day today.
Decide which version of yourself you really want to be and choose to be that version of yourself everyday. Building a life we love takes a good amount of courage and determination that we can choose to possess or we can choose not to possess. To find that courage and determination we have to be willing to overcome our pasts and the wrongs that have been done to us so that we can start to embrace the positive possibilities that lay ahead of us. There are people in this world who like to wallow in their grief and wear their sufferings like a shiny crown they can show off for the world to see. They prefer to always blame their bad behavior on what once happened to them never choosing once to acknowledge that they were meant to move past that pain, find their true healing, and push forward to have the good that God wants to give to them. It’s easier to walk around being hateful, spiteful, and ornery blaming every wrong happening on anyone else who may be near you, but it takes a true warrior, a soldier of God, a true faithful and courageous person to choose to overcome their circumstances, to choose to break the cycle of negativity that has plagued their families for generations, to choose to believe in the promises of God and follow the road less traveled. Choosing to be the best version of ourselves will definitely propel us towards building the life we love because we are keenly aware of the true strength, courage, and determination we possess within us and we discovered this because we have overcome the crap we faced in our lives which should have broken us, but instead we chose to give the ashes of those bad things to God, move forward to better things that were meant for us in faith, and not let our past determine our future. When you chose which version of yourself you truly want to be, be prepared to travel the road that will ultimately unfold before you. Someone who chooses the defeated, victim hood, Whoa is me mentality will always fall short of ever seeing themselves live the life they love because their thinking and their lack of faith will always hold them back, but those who choose to conquer their pasts and their circumstances with God can expect to see beautiful and amazing new blessings come into their lives at every new turn because they have the faith, the courage, the will, and the determination to never give up, to never back down, and to always believe as Jesus has taught us that “all things are possible with God”! Thanks be to God.

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Building the life you love

Psalm 30:5 “Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a fabulous day today.
Don’t think that it’s over just because an amazing chapter of your life has ended. I lost my husband nearly 29 years ago. Then I watched my heart break again when the end of my relationship with my youngest son’s father ended 20 years ago. In facing each of these sad and difficult seasons of my life it was hard to see beyond the heartache and pain to know that there were still so many beautiful seasons to come into my life. Trust me when I tell you I know what the darkness and hopelessness in the bottom of that pit feels like, but God knows exactly how to rescue you from that hopeless season. He knows how to set you on your feet again and how to point you in the right direction.  God knows how to provide you the strength and the hope even when you feel like you have nothing more to give. Being in that season of life when we have faced such a heartbreaking and devastating loss can truly leave us feeling like we have no more good left to experience in life because we have just seen our most amazing season of life come to an end, but I promise you, if you give God the chance He most certainly deserves, He will bring you through these seemingly unending storms of life to walk you into seasons of your life more beautiful, more exciting, more joyful, and more amazing than your heart and mind could ever imagine. Allow God to help you heal and to be made whole and new again in His perfect ways so that He can show you that even beyond the hurt and loss you have faced, you can still very much build and embrace the life you love.
Thanks be to God.
