Good morning ya’ll ministry messages

Proverbs17:28 “Even a fool appears wise when they do not speak.”
Good morning ya’ll.
I pray that you have a terrific day today.
As I drove to work yesterday morning I couldn’t help but notice that above the cover of the fog there stood a tall tower. It’s a tower I’ve seen many times before, only today I heard God’s word echoed to me reminding me about the fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23 as well as the words found in Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. β€œAs the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” When we respond to the hatefulness, ugliness, and strife that can come against us or that happens around us with the same kind of hatefulness, ugliness, and strife then we breed only more of the same ultimately bringing victory to the works of the enemy, and in our lives in this already angry world, there is already too much hatred and strife. Proverbs 31:26 tells us that a virtuous woman of God “speaks with wisdom”. These two verses from Proverbs are excellent reminders to us all exactly how we should react to the ugliness, hatred, and strife in the world, by rising above the foggy, unclear, muddled atmosphere where the hatred and ugliness is and drawing closer to God. By shifting our views to a higher perspective we can find the wisdom, peace, and strength we will most certainly need from God to respond with peacefulness and wisdom so that our responses shift the glory and victory back to God where our world so desperately needs to be.
Have an outstanding day today.

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages

Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you will prosper…”
Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the devil’s schemes.”
2 Thessalonians 3:3 “The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”
Good morning ya’ll. I pray that you have a terrific day today.
Oh the lies the enemy Shells out to us all everyday and we buy into them and own them as if it’s simply our lot in life. We so readily accept the negative mantras we speak and think about ourselves because it’s easier to believe somehow, rather than the truth of God. Truths that tell us we are made in His image (Genesis1:27), we are wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), we are carefully created (Psalm 139:13), we are masterpieces (Ephesians 2:10) made by the perfect creator. We are loved so greatly our names are carved into His hands (Isaiah 49:16) and etched upon His heart. We are so loved and desired by our loving Father that He have His Only Son, Jesus to die on the cross for us even when we didn’t deserve it. (John 3:16). We all know we have flaws and imperfections, this is actually part of God’s perfect design. For if He had created all of us exactly the same there would be no separation, no valuing the differences, no learning another’s culture or habits, because we’d all look alike, think alike, dress alike, talk alike, and act just alike. “Variety is the spice of life” the famous quote tells us and Jesus Himself told us to always he “the salt of the earth” (Matthew 5:13). Don’t allow the enemy to steal your saltiness, don’t let him strip you of your Godly truth about who you are, and don’t allow the enemy to dance inside your head telling you lies by point out every flaws and imperfection making you think you aren’t enough of anything. Shut down the lies as soon as they begin to creep in by finding your favorite scripture and quoting that scripture every time the negative and defeating thoughts of the enemy begin to creep in. May God’s truth about the beautiful, unique, awesome, and amazing person that you are always be victorious in your life everyday and always ya’ll.
Have a great day today

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages

Esther 4:14 “Perhaps you were born for a time such as this.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord; plans for good and not for evil. Plans to prosper you.”
Good morning ya’ll.
I pray that you have a beautiful day today.
Cora Brooks was the local “madam” in the small town of Austin, Pennsylvania in the early 1900’s. Being deemed “an outcast” by the upstanding Christian people of the town, Cora’s “home/business” was pushed to the edge of town. In every worldly view of this situation it would seem like a promise of her fate that just as Cora had been outcast by the town, so too would she likely be deemed an outcast in God’s Kingdom and in the eyes of God. However, as only God can beautifully do, He still had His very own amazing promise for her life and a greater purpose for her to fulfill. You see the fine people of the tiny working class town of Austin, the very same people who ran Cora to the outskirts of town, were the very same people who Cora saved from devastating disaster when the walls of a poorly built damage broke and gave way to massive amounts of water destined to flood the entire town and kill everyone in its path. Cora, being on the outskirts of town was one of the first town residents to see and hear what was happening and immediately and without fail, she rushed towards the town hollering, screaming, and warming everyone that the dam had broken sending the waters rushing their way. Because of her selfless and heroic actions, hundreds of lives that might have otherwise been lost, were saved that day and on that day we know that at least one of God’s greater plans for her life was fulfilled. Much like Rahab, the prostitute in the town of Canine gave shelter to the Isrealites thereby saving their lives, which in turn led God to spare her life and the lives of her family (Joshua 2), Cora also showed bravery and faith by warning the people of theΒ  town that so despised her, that the flood waters were coming. You might think that your story is finished. Perhaps you are fearful that your past mistakes can’t be undone and that your journey simply must be at its dead end because you feel like maybe God has given up on you and surely He couldn’t possibly have any good plans in store for you, but the stories of Cora Brooks and Rahab of Canin, make God’s truth quite clear to us, God is never quite done with us, not until the day we die and come home to Him. So if you think you are simply too far gone for God to use, think again. In fact, that very time you were created for may very well be just around the corner, so trust in His perfect plans for your life everyday.
Have a great day today.

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Quality time in God’s Word

(Photo taken at the Museum of the Bible. I highly recommend a visit there. It’s such a beautiful journey learning about the word of God in this world throughout the generations.)

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”
Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your plans and works to the Lord and your plans will succeed.”
Proverbs 14:1 “The wise woman builds her house up, but with her own hands the foolish woman tears hers down.”
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Good morning ya’ll.
I pray that you have a phenomenal day today.
These are just a few of my favorite scriptures from God’s word. These scriptures have helped to encourage me, inspire me, give me hope, provide me wisdom, and guidance through my years of walking with God and growing in my own spiritual maturity. As I grew more with Jesus by my side and as I learned important lessons like to be humble in service and to allow God to receive all the glory, to be the wise woman who builds and encourages my home instead of the foolish woman who tears her house down. These important lessons are just a few that have taught me so much over the years and which still keep teaching me, guiding me, reminding me of who God is calling me to be, and also helping me help others grow in their own spiritual journey with Jesus. For the remainder of this week I am going to take the time to really try to immerse myself in God’s Word. I’m would like to allow you all to feel free to share your favorite scriptures with all of us and to share the amazing ways God has guided you and helped you in your journey as well through His eternal word. I look forward to returning next Monday with a new message series. God has been speaking to me on so many different topics and I am prayerful that I will be able to create beautiful and powerful messages to help us all draw closer to God as He remains close to us at all times.
I love you all

John 15:7 “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “God has not givenΒ  us with a spirit of fear or timidity.”
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Psalm 34:4 “I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a fantastic day today.
Fear is a gripping, caging, even crippling lie the enemy weilds against us daily, and all too often we buy right into that lie forgetting the truth and promises of God’s words to us.
What things are we allowing our fears to hold us back from having? What places are our fears keeping us from moving? How far behind have we fallen on our paths because we fear moving in a different direction? Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Do not follow where theΒ pathΒ may lead.Β GoΒ instead whereΒ there is no path and leave a trail.” What new trail is God trying to help us forge? What new adventures is God trying to lead us to? Instead of us cowering in fear and uncertainty perhaps now is the time to raise our eyes to The One who knows us best and ask Him and allow Him to lead us with the courage, strength, hope, and passion only God can provide us.
Have a phenomenal day today.

Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”
Proverbs 3:6 “Commit your ways to the Lord, and He will make your paths straight.”
Good morning ya’ll.
I pray that you have a phenomenal day today.
If I can be honest with all of you, I have to admit, that even as I strive to stay close to God, remain in His word, and walk daily with Jesus, sometimes I still battle small bouts of depression and every so often, anxiety. Mind you, these bouts of depression and anxiety were once far more profound in my life years ago as I was just beginning my walk with Jesus, and I am so extremely grateful for the strides God has helped me make in my journey. Still, it feels sad and frustrating when I face these times in my life these days. These are the times when I begin to search for as much of God’s word as I can. I strive to soak up devotional messages and prayers to listen to in my car as I drive to work, as well as reading the Bible, all in an effort to draw myself closer to God and hope to feel better. Meanwhile, God taps gently on my shoulder and whispers to me, “Did you simply ask Me yet? Did you simply get still, pray, and ask Me to draw closer to you and ask Me to help heal you? All you need to do is ask Me, child, I want to answer. I want to help you.”
Sometimes, ya’ll, we simply needed to get still, pray, have faith, and allow God to do the amazing things He does best: set our paths straight, provide us the wisdom, guidance, and direction, and restore our weary souls. Thanks be to God.
Have an amazing day today.

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Quality time in God’s Word

Titus 3:5 “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit…”
Ecclesiastes 7:16 “Do not be excessively righteous and do not be overly wise.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
Romans 3:10 “There is none righteous, not even one.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a wonderful day today.
If you are anything like me then you strive everyday to maintain good habits, to do good deeds, and to be the epitome of a good Christian follower. If you are also like me, you all too often tend to forget that although I have been MADE righteous, my daily “Good Christian” actions don’t make me righteous, only Jesus can do that. I recently read a devotional that taught me this very lesson. We are supposed to do right, think right, and act right because we want to do these things, because we want to be a beautiful reflection of our Heavenly Father, and because we want to live our lives thanking Jesus for all that He faced to give us righteousness and to provide us with the hope of Heaven. Nothing we can do will ever be enough to punch our eternal ticket guaranteeing us Heaven, only being saved, accepting Jesus into our hearts, and confessing our sins to God who makes us new, can do that. We are MADE righteous only because of the mighty love of Jesus Christ, who tore the heavy veil, and who rewrote the book on the old laws alone. Now, we can breathe, relax, be still in the presence of God, and we can be truly joyous and excited “Good Christian” men and women because we want to be that beautiful reflection of our Heavenly Father who we love and praise.
What does salvation and righteousness mean to you? Like me, how have you forgotten who is really in control and taken over trying to “save the day” for everyone?
Have a blessed day today.
I love you all

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Quality time in God’s Word

1 Corinthians 12:12-14 “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it…Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.”
1 Corinthians 12:25-27 “…so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for one another… If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
Genesis 1:27 “So God created mankindin his own image, in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.”
Good morning ya’ll.
I pray that you have a marvelous day today.
Notice from the very beginning in Genesis to the middle of the New Testament God has been telling us all that WE ARE ALL ONE. We are all made in His image, we are all part of the body of Christ, we are all equally valuable, gifted, and special, and we are all called to care about and support one another. With these lessons clearly spoken to us telling us and teaching us clearly that we are meant to live in unity, why are we daily and constantly choosing to draw lines and create divisions? Let’s all of us who love Jesus and who seek and live for God, choose to live, love, speak, and act with the intent of bringing unity.
Have a wonderful day today.

Romans 3:5 “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;Β perseverance, character; and character, hope.Β And hopeΒ does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit,Β who has been given to us.”
Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in theΒ LordΒ with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “give thanks in all circumstances…”
Good morning ya’ll.
I pray that you have a terrific day today.
Some days find us with much to celebrate, much to be thankful and grateful for, and much to praise God for. Other days leave us sad, hurt, broken-hearted, down in the dumps, and crying out to God begging Him to fix the wrongs. In God’s Word we learn that in it all, the good and the bad, we are called to trust God always and we are called to have faith that by the amazing works of His hands, the good days will, most definitely, come again. do you think makes it hard for us to thank God in the difficult times of our lives? Why do you think it’s important for us to praise God even in the midst of our trials and storms of life?
Have an amazing day today.

Good morning ya’ll ministry messages: Quality time in God’s Word

Jeremiah 29:11 “God knows the plans He has for me and His plans are for good.”
Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is assurance in what we hope for and certainty of what we do not see.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11 “God has made all things beautiful in its time.”
Good morning ya’ll
I pray that you have a fantastic day today.
In the middle of this crazy work week I became a grandma.Β  My heart grew ten times bigger and my joy was overflowing within me. To see my own son now embrace and love his own son just takes my breath away and brings tears of joy to my eyes.
To see my sweet grandbaby’s face reminds me that truly “God does make all things beautiful in its time” and even though the memories and lessons learned during the difficult seasons of my own life will always remain, they now pale in comparison to the joy I carry now as I embrace the great blessings God had brought into my life now and as I give God the glory for all that He has brought me through, all that He has taught me, and all that He has blessed me with, blessed my family and loved ones with, and all of the awesome blessings He still has in store for me and for us all. What difficult seasons are you facing right now? How can keeping God’s promises from these three scriptures help you to also hold tight to the faith, confidence, and assurance that God is still at work bringing beautiful, blessed, new joyful seasons into your life and soon sweeping the difficult seasons away? Please feel free to share.
Have an outstanding day today.
