Good morning ya’ll ministry messages

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
Good morning ya’ll. I pray that your day is peaceful and joyful. The scripture above, I have it memorized in my head. I can hear it sung in a song everytime I recite it because when I use to teach weekly bible club we would sing it with the children often. I recall hearing this scripture and for the longest time it spoke to me, but I couldn’t quite grasp what it meant to me. Then one day it hit me, Jesus is telling us, just as He was telling His disciples, to not concern ourselves with striving and seeking after the earthly things, but to first seek and strive earnestly after better knowing God and God’s word. This has made such a profound difference in my life ever since I began to understand what this meant. When I wake up everyday if I choose to go out into the world seeking to satisfy only me and seeking only the things of this world then I am bound to be disappointed and let down, because the things of this earth were never meant to truly fulfill us, but when I go out into the world seeking God first, seeking His wisdom first and His plans first, then I will find true fulfillment and true joy. This is because God’s goodness, His presence, wisdom and love were created to fulfill us in ways no things here on earth ever could. If we think we have found perfect fulfillment here on earth without knowing God or Christ or God’s word, then we will never be truly fulfilled, but when we know that knowing God better will bring us our greatest joy then we can truly understand Matthew 6:33 and we can find our greatest happiness in seeking God first in our lives in every way, trusting God to add all the blessings He has in store for us as He knows is best for us.
Have an amazing day today.
Love San 🤗
